DishCourse Community Asheville Trip

We’re taking DishCourse on the road! Join us for our very first community weekend trip as we head to beautiful Asheville for three days of exploring, relaxing, and connecting.

From great food and local art to mountain views and cozy hangouts, this trip is all about enjoying a change of scenery with both new and familiar faces. I’ll be building the entire itinerary, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the adventure.

Not yet part of the DishCourse Community? These activities are designed for members who’ve attended at least one event. Come experience the most fun way to build real connections and discover new places together.

Tentative Itinerary:

Friday Night – Welcome Gathering

Ease into the weekend with a relaxed group meet-up. We’ll kick things off with food, drinks, and time to get to know each other.

Saturday – Mountains & Arts District

• Morning: Take in breathtaking fall foliage on a scenic mountain hike.

• Afternoon: Choose your adventure. Join a guided brewery hopping tour through Asheville’s famous craft beer scene, or spend the afternoon exploring local artists, makers, and galleries.

• Evening: We’ll come back together for a group dinner at one of Asheville’s most loved spots in the arts district.

Sunday – Farewell Brunch & Optional Volunteering

We’ll close the weekend with brunch before departures. Those who stick around can join an optional volunteer opportunity supporting the local community.

Accomodations:

You can choose to book your own accommodations or stay with the group in a private Airbnb. The house will be fully equipped with a kitchen and plenty of amenities, offering a comfortable and fun home base for the weekend. While some rooms may be shared, everyone will have their own bed.

The total cost of the Airbnb will be split among the group, and based on our estimates you can expect to pitch in around $200 for the full weekend stay.
